The Max Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary! Ceramicist Max van der Linden, founder of the classical music festival in Tourinnes-la-Grosse, aimed to share beauty, building a bridge between the rural world and art. In 2015, in this vein, his nephew Michel van der Linden and pianist Irina Lankova created a classical music festival with a central theme for each edition. The Saint-Martin Church in Tourinnes-la-Grosse, a beautiful 10th-century Romanesque building listed as a Belgian heritage site and renowned for its acoustics, hosts it every year during the third weekend of September. Clarinetist Ronald Van Spaendonck and the orchestra, conducted by his concertmaster, Jean-Frédéric Molard, will join forces to offer a concert for the occasion. Program: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Clarinet Concerto in A major K622 (25 min) Franz Schubert, Five German Dances D. 90 (15 min) Astor Piazzolla, Grand Tango for Solo Violin and Strings (arranged by J.F. Molard) (12 min) Béla Bartók, Six Romanian Dances Sz56 (25 min)
